أدانت مصر استمرار الهجمات والاعتداءات على أراضي المملكة العربية السعودية، مؤكدة وقوفها الكامل إلى جانب الرياض في مواجهة التهديدات التي تستهدف أمنها وسيادتها، وذلك عقب إطلاق صاروخين باليستيين باتجاه العاصمة السعودية.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية المصرية، في بيان، إن القاهرة تعرب عن إدانتها واستنكارها البالغين لاستمرار الاعتداءات على الأراضي السعودية ومحاولات استهداف مدن المملكة ومصالحها، مشيرة إلى أن إطلاق الصاروخين الباليستيين باتجاه الرياض يمثل انتهاكا صارخا للقانون الدولي ولسيادة المملكة وأمنها.
وأكدت مصر أن استمرار هذه الهجمات يعكس نهجا تصعيديا من شأنه تهديد أمن المدنيين وتعريض استقرار المنطقة لمخاطر إضافية، في وقت تشهد فيه المنطقة توترات أمنية متزايدة وتتصاعد فيه المخاوف من اتساع نطاق المواجهات وتداعياتها على أمن الدول العربية.
وشددت القاهرة على تضامنها الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية، ودعمها لجميع الإجراءات التي تتخذها للدفاع عن أمنها وسيادتها وحماية مواطنيها وصون مصالحها، في تأكيد جديد على موقف مصر الرافض لاستهداف الأراضي السعودية أو المساس بأمنها واستقرارها.
وتأتي الإدانة المصرية في سياق موقف القاهرة المعلن الداعم لأمن دول الخليج العربي، والذي يستند إلى اعتبار أمن الخليج جزءا لا يتجزأ من الأمن القومي المصري، ورفض أي تهديدات تستهدف أراضي الدول العربية أو تحاول فرض معادلات أمنية بالقوة.
ويمثل استهداف المدن والمنشآت المدنية بالصواريخ الباليستية تطورا ذا أبعاد أمنية تتجاوز حدود الدولة المستهدفة، نظرا لما ينطوي عليه من مخاطر على المدنيين والبنية التحتية وحركة الطيران والملاحة، فضلا عن احتمالات اتساع دائرة التصعيد في المنطقة.
وتأتي الإدانة المصرية بعد تطورات أمنية متلاحقة شهدتها المملكة خلال الأيام الأخيرة، إذ أعلنت قيادة التحالف لدعم الشرعية في اليمن، اعتراض وتدمير صاروخ باليستي أُطلق باتجاه المنطقة الشرقية، قبل الإعلان عن اعتراض صاروخين باليستيين آخرين باتجاه الرياض، إلى جانب تدمير صاروخين جوالين استهدفا العاصمة ومناطق جنوبية.
كما أعلنت وزارة الطاقة السعودية تعرض مبنى إداري تابع لشركة أرامكو في الرياض لمحاولة استهداف، أسفرت عن سقوط شظايا وحدوث أضرار محدودة بالمبنى، دون تسجيل إصابات أو وفيات، بحسب المصدر الرسمي بالوزارة.
وسبق أن أدانت مصر، في 6 نوفمبر الجاري، محاولة استهداف المدينة المنورة بصاروخ باليستي، مؤكدة آنذاك أن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية يرتبط ارتباطا وثيقا بالأمن القومي المصري، ويمثل أحد ركائز الاستقرار في المنطقة، وهو ما يعكس استمرار الموقف المصري الرافض للهجمات التي تستهدف الأراضي السعودية.
Egypt condemned the ongoing attacks and assaults on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming its full support for Riyadh in facing the threats targeting its security and sovereignty, following the launch of two ballistic missiles towards the Saudi capital.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Cairo expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued assaults on Saudi territory and attempts to target the cities and interests of the Kingdom, noting that the launch of the two ballistic missiles towards Riyadh represents a blatant violation of international law and the sovereignty and security of the Kingdom.
Egypt confirmed that the continuation of these attacks reflects an escalatory approach that threatens the security of civilians and exposes the stability of the region to additional risks, at a time when the region is witnessing increasing security tensions and fears are rising regarding the expansion of confrontations and their implications for the security of Arab countries.
Cairo emphasized its complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to defend its security and sovereignty, protect its citizens, and safeguard its interests, reaffirming Egypt’s stance against targeting Saudi territory or compromising its security and stability.
The Egyptian condemnation comes within the context of Cairo’s declared position supporting the security of the Gulf Arab states, which is based on the belief that Gulf security is an integral part of Egyptian national security, and the rejection of any threats targeting the territories of Arab countries or attempting to impose security equations by force.
Targeting cities and civilian facilities with ballistic missiles represents a development with security dimensions that transcend the borders of the targeted state, given the risks it poses to civilians, infrastructure, air traffic, and navigation, as well as the potential for escalation in the region.
The Egyptian condemnation follows successive security developments witnessed by the Kingdom in recent days, as the coalition leadership supporting legitimacy in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched towards the eastern region, before announcing the interception of two other ballistic missiles towards Riyadh, in addition to the destruction of two drones targeting the capital and southern areas.
The Saudi Ministry of Energy also announced that an administrative building belonging to Aramco in Riyadh was subjected to an attempted targeting, resulting in debris falling and limited damage to the building, with no injuries or fatalities reported, according to the official source in the ministry.
Egypt had previously condemned, on November 6, the attempted targeting of Medina with a ballistic missile, affirming at that time that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is closely linked to Egyptian national security and represents one of the pillars of stability in the region, reflecting Egypt’s continued stance against attacks targeting Saudi territory.
