ابتداءً من 15 يونيو 2026، ستتيح هيئة تطوير محمية الإمام عبدالعزيز بن محمد الملكية، للمجتمع المحلي إصدار تراخيص الرعي الموسمي داخل نطاق المحمية، وفق ضوابط واشتراطات تنظيمية وبيئية تهدف إلى تحقيق التوازن بين الاستفادة من الموارد الطبيعية والمحافظة على استدامتها !
في الحقيقة، أسهمت جهود هيئة تطوير محمية الإمام عبدالعزيز بن محمد الملكية، الفاعلة في تنظيم الرعي الموسمي بشكل فاعل في حماية الغطاء النباتي وتعزيز التنوع الأحيائي والحد من التصحر، بعد أن كان في السابق يعاني من تدهور الغطاء النباتي وسلبيات الرعي الجائر، إضافة إلى غياب ثقافة المحافظة على الغطاء النباتي وما ترتب على ذلك من آثار سلبية على البيئة والمجتمع المحلي !
ولا تقف أهمية هذا التنظيم عند أثره البيئي وحسب، بل تمتد إلى أثر اقتصادي مستدام على المجتمع المحلي، يتمثل في توفير فرص العمل ودعم الأنشطة المرتبطة بالرعي والسياحة البيئية، مما يعزز مصادر دخل الأسر المحلية من المنتجات والخدمات المرتبطة بالمحمية، ويحفز الاستثمارات المحلية ويعزز فرص نجاحها !

وإذا كانت الأنظمة من أدوات تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي قبل أن تكون وسيلة لضمان الامتثال ومعاقبة المخالفين، فإن اللافت أن المجتمع السعودي أظهر استعداداً طبيعياً وإدراكاً متزايداً لأهمية دور المحميات الملكية في المحافظة على التوازن البيئي، وارتباط حماية الغطاء النباتي بالحياة ومستقبلها !
باختصار.. تمثل تراخيص الرعي الموسمي ثمرة لنجاح جهود حماية الغطاء النباتي والحفاظ على الحياة الفطرية، وجائزة حصاد لنتائجها الإيجابية على البيئة والمجتمع !

The importance of this organization does not stop at its environmental impact alone, but extends to a sustainable economic impact on the local community, manifested in providing job opportunities and supporting activities related to grazing and eco-tourism, which enhances the income sources of local families from products and services related to the reserve, stimulates local investments, and boosts their chances of success!
