بعد ساعات من تهديدات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب ووزير دفاعه، كشفت وسائل إعلام عن سماع دوي انفجارات في جزيرة كيش الإيرانية.
وذكر التلفزيون الإيراني أنه سُمعَت أصوات انفجارات من مسافة بعيدة في جزيرة كيش، ولم يُعرف مصدرها بعد، فيما قالت وكالة «مهر» إنه تم تفعيل الدفاعات الجوية خارج مدينة مهر بمحافظة فارس جنوبي إيران، من دون وقوع أي انفجارات هناك.
وكان وزير الدفاع الأمريكي بيت هيغسيث قد قال: «نحن على توافق تام مع البيت الأبيض وفريق التفاوض، وأهداف القصف الليلة مخصصة لفرض شروطنا وبسط السيطرة»، مضيفاً: «إذا كنا بحاجة إلى التفاوض بالقنابل فسنفعل ذلك، ولا يوجد طرف في العالم أفضل منا في هذا المجال».
وسبقت ذلك تصريحات للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، قال فيها إن القوات الأمريكية ستعاود مهاجمة إيران اليوم، بعد استهداف مروحية أباتشي، موضحاً أن إيران «ستدفع الثمن»، وأن الولايات المتحدة «ستهاجمها بقوة».
وأضاف ترمب: «ينبغي على إيران أن توقّع الاتفاق، فهو اتفاق جيد وذو مغزى»، مبيناً أن إيران تماطل، قائلاً: «لا أدري ماذا يفعل قادتها، ونحن بصدد منعهم من امتلاك سلاح نووي».
وخاطب ترمب إيران بالقول: «إما أن نجد حلاً معها أو سنقضي عليها»، من دون أن يكشف تفاصيل المواقع التي قد تستهدفها الولايات المتحدة، قائلاً: «لن أدلي بتفاصيل حول عزمنا تدمير الجسور ومحطات الطاقة الإيرانية».
وأشار إلى أنه يريد اتفاقاً مع إيران يكون ذا مغزى وقابلاً للتطبيق، مؤكداً أنه ضرب إيران بقوة أمس، وسيضربها بقوة اليوم أيضاً.
كما كشف ترمب عن تدمير 22 سفينة إيرانية أمس، بينها زوارق، معرباً عن أمله في تحقيق السلام في الشرق الأوسط.
واتهم ترمب إيران بالمماطلة في المفاوضات، قائلاً: «إيران تستخف بعقولنا».
Hours after threats from U.S. President Donald Trump and his Secretary of Defense, media outlets reported hearing explosions on the Iranian island of Kish.
The Iranian television reported that explosion sounds were heard from a distance on Kish Island, and their source is still unknown, while the Mehr news agency stated that air defenses were activated outside the city of Mehr in Fars province, southern Iran, without any explosions occurring there.
U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated: “We are in complete agreement with the White House and the negotiating team, and the targets of tonight’s bombing are aimed at imposing our conditions and asserting control,” adding: “If we need to negotiate with bombs, we will do so, and there is no party in the world better than us in this field.”
This was preceded by statements from U.S. President Donald Trump, in which he said that U.S. forces would resume attacking Iran today after targeting an Apache helicopter, clarifying that Iran “will pay the price,” and that the United States “will strike it hard.”
Trump added: “Iran must sign the agreement; it is a good and meaningful agreement,” indicating that Iran is stalling, saying: “I don’t know what its leaders are doing, and we are in the process of preventing them from acquiring nuclear weapons.”
Trump addressed Iran by saying: “Either we find a solution with them or we will eliminate them,” without revealing details about the sites that the United States might target, stating: “I will not provide details about our intention to destroy Iranian bridges and power stations.”
He indicated that he wants an agreement with Iran that is meaningful and applicable, confirming that he struck Iran hard yesterday and will strike it hard today as well.
Trump also revealed the destruction of 22 Iranian ships yesterday, including boats, expressing hope for achieving peace in the Middle East.
Trump accused Iran of stalling in negotiations, saying: “Iran is underestimating our intelligence.”
