أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني عن تعرض مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض لاعتداء عصر (السبت) 29 ربيع الآخر 1448هـ الموافق 10 أكتوبر 2026م، وذلك في ظل استمرار الاعتداءات السافرة التي تستهدف مرافق الطيران المدني بالمملكة، وقد نتج عن الاعتداء عدد من الإصابات التي يجري العمل على حصرها.
وأوضحت الهيئة أنه تم تعليق العمليات التشغيلية في المطار مؤقتاً، لحين استكمال تقييم الأضرار والتحقق من سلامة المرافق، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، وسيتم الإعلان عن المستجدات لاحقاً.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was subjected to an attack on the afternoon of Saturday, 29 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to October 10, 2026 AD, amid ongoing brazen attacks targeting civil aviation facilities in the Kingdom. The attack resulted in several injuries, which are currently being assessed.
The authority clarified that operational activities at the airport have been temporarily suspended until the damage assessment is completed and the safety of the facilities is verified, in coordination with the relevant authorities. Updates will be announced later.
