The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has begun procedures to correct the status of all individuals in the Kingdom who are of Yemeni nationality and are residing illegally, in accordance with the royal directives, through the “Qiwa” platform for professional labor and the “Musanid” platform for domestic labor, in coordination with the relevant government agencies.
The ministry clarified that the correction procedures started today and will continue for two months in all regions of the Kingdom. They include Yemeni workers whose residency permits have expired, as well as those who are absent from work, provided they have valid travel documents, in accordance with the approved procedures and regulations.
The ministry indicated that workers whose residency permits have expired can transfer to other employers in need of their services through the relevant digital platforms. The “Qiwa” platform allows for the completion of procedures for the transfer of professional labor, while the “Musanid” platform facilitates the transfer of supporting labor, in coordination with the “Absher” platform, and without the need to visit government agency offices.
It added that workers who have reports of absenteeism can benefit from the correction procedures by canceling the absenteeism reports and transferring their services to other employers in need of their services, through the “Qiwa” platform for professional labor and the “Musanid” platform for supporting labor, provided their travel documents are valid.
The ministry affirmed that the availability of these services electronically comes within the framework of integration between government agencies to implement the royal directives, facilitate the procedures for correcting statuses, and organize the transfer of labor in accordance with the approved regulations and controls, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of the labor market and preserving the rights of the parties involved in the contractual relationship.
