في تعز، لا تقف المرأة خلف المعركة، بل تخوضها بقلب الأم، وإرادة المقاتل، وإيمان من لا يقبل أن تُسلب كرامة وطنه وعزمية تؤمن بأن النصر قادم بعزيمة الرجال ودعم التحالف العربي.
تتجلى الحكاية في المدينة التي توصف بـ«الحالمة» بأنصع صورها يجسدها مجتمع بأكمله قرر أن يكون شريكاً في معركة استعادة الجمهورية، وأن يتحول وجع فقد النساء لأبنائهن إلى قوة، والدموع إلى عزيمة، والتضحيات إلى وقود للصمود، سواء ممن هم في وسط المدينة أو خارجها أو مغتربين لتتشابك حكايات التضحية والصمود في وجه الحصار والحرب، ولتثبت المرأة أن الدفاع عن الوطن ليس بندقية فحسب، بل إيمان وصبر وعطاء لا ينكسر، حتى يستعيد اليمن حريته وكرامته.
صف واحد ضد الحوثي
«عكاظ» تحدثت إلى رئيسة مؤسسة حياة للإغاثة والناشطة المجتمعية حياة الذبحاني التي قالت: نحن نؤمن بالقضية، وتعز حاضنة المجتمعات اليمنية بكافة أطيافها، وهذه المدينة فيها العلم والثقافة، وهي لا تقبل بأن تكون عبداً لأحد، ولا سيد فيها إلا الشعب، وهي مدينة المقاومة، ولا يمكن أن تخضع للحوثية التي تريد امتهان كرامة الإنسان اليمني.
وأضافت: نحن في هذه المدينة لا ندعو للحرب، لكن حين أدرك أبناؤها أن جمهوريتهم في خطر، وضعوا الثقافة والعلم جانباً، وانطلقوا نحو حمل السلاح، وأرادوا أن يوصلوا رسالة بأن الجمهورية اليمنية عُمّدت بالدم الغالي من الأجداد الأحرار، ونحن على دربهم سائرون.
مجتمع متماسك وقوي
وأشارت إلى أن المجتمع متمسك بهذه القيمة الوطنية، ولذلك فإن تعز مختلفة عن بقية المحافظات في التماسك والحفاظ على المبادئ الوطنية، لأن فيها قدراً من الحرية، والتعليم فيها ممتاز للغاية، وأبناؤها متعلمون ومثقفون.
وأشارت إلى أن الحس الوطني الذي تتمتع به تعز في الدفاع عن الجمهورية لا يقلل من أهمية المحافظات الأخرى، مضيفة: نحن وإياهم في سفينة واحدة، وسنسبح إلى شاطئ الأمان.
ولفتت إلى أن تعز هي القلب النابض دائماً، موضحة أن الإرهابي عبدالملك الحوثي راهن على إسقاط مدينة تعز في أسبوعين، لكنها صمدت 12 عاماً على التوالي، وها هي حتى اللحظة تقدم التضحيات.
وحول دور الأسر في دعم الجيش والمقاومة، قالت الذبحاني: الكل في هذه المدينة يقاوم حتى تتحرر من المليشيا؛ الصغير والكبير، والمرأة والرجل، والكل يتطلع إلى يمن سعيد ومشرق نحلم به جميعاً، ونحن أبناء تعز بكاملها نقف صفاً واحداً خلف قائدنا الرئيس رشاد العليمي، داعمين ومساندين لأبنائنا في هذه المعركة.
شكراً للسعودية قيادة وشعب
وأشارت إلى أن أبناء تعز يشكرون تحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة السعودية على مواقفه الأخوية والبطولية الشجاعة، قائلة: نوجه الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز وولي عهده الأمير محمد بن سلمان، ونقول لهما: تعز لن تنسى مواقف الرجال في لحظة الشدة.
وأضافت: نحن كأسرة يمنية وأسرة تعزية نقول لإخواننا وأخواتنا في السعودية: لن ننسى جميلكم، ونحن منتصرون بدعمكم وبمبادئنا وإيماننا بالقضية، ومنتصرون بدماء أبنائنا والتضحيات التي قُدّمت في هذه المدينة.
وحول رسالتها إلى أبناء تعز داخل اليمن وخارجه، قالت الذبحاني: الكل هنا في مدينة تعز وخارجها، من المغتربين، يدٌ واحدة؛ فالكل يدعم ويساند الجيش الوطني والمقاومة الشعبية في معركة التحرير، سواء بشراء الذخيرة أو الملابس، أو إعداد الأكلات، أو شراء الأدوية والتغذية، الكل في تعز يشعر بالمسؤولية تجاه مدينته وتجاه كل رجل يقاتل من أجل مقدساتنا وديننا وكرامتنا.
مساندة مجتمعية من مناطق الحوثي
وأشارت إلى أن المجتمع في تعز والأسر يقومون بادروا من تلقاء أنفسهم إلى العمل وتقديم كل أنواع الدعم؛ فهناك من يتولى الجوانب المعنوية، كرفع الهمم بالأناشيد والزوامل والمقالات، فيما تصنع النساء الكعك الذي يحمل رسائل للمقاتلين تحثهم على الثبات، ويعدون الطعام ويتبرعن بالذهب، كما يقدم المغتربون مختلف أنواع الدعم، ويبعثون الأموال لشراء الأسلحة، فالكل في هذه المدينة يقاوم داخلها وخارجها.
وأضافت: لا أخفيك أن المناطق التي تقع تحت سيطرة المليشيا تقدم الدعم أيضاً، وتصلنا تبرعاتهم، ونستغرب من أن دعمهم أكبر من الدعم الذي يأتي من المناطق المحررة أو من المغتربين، وكأنهم يريدون أن يقولوا بهذا الدعم: أنقذونا من هذه المليشيا، فنحن نعاني منها.
وشددت الناشطة المجتمعية في تعز على أنه لن يضرهم، في تعز أو في اليمن، ما يقدمونه لأبنائهم في جبهات الشرف، مؤكدة ثقتهم بالنصر، ومضيفة: نحن في تعز على قلب رجل واحد، وواثقون من دعم أشقائنا في السعودية للجيش الوطني للقضاء على هذه المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية التي تهدد أمن المنطقة، وليس مدينة تعز فقط.
إسناد المغتربين لتعز
وأعربت رئيسة مؤسسة حياة للإغاثة عن تقديرها للمغتربين، الذين قالت إنهم يلعبون دوراً فاعلاً ورئيسياً في المعركة الوطنية، وهم رجال مواقف وفزعات، ويقفون إلى جانب الجيش الوطني والمقاومة الشعبية.
وأشارت إلى أن المغتربين اليمنيين يؤكدون، بمواقفهم، أنهم يريدون إرسال رسالة مفادها أنهم في خندق واحد، وسيدافعون عن جمهوريتهم، مضيفة: ونحن بدورنا نقول لهم: استمروا في دعم بلدكم حتى تنهض، وستعود عليكم بالخير، والشعب بأكمله يحيي مواقفكم الوطنية، وأنتم شركاء النصر، والنصر قريب، وسيكون احتفال الجمهورية الأكبر في ميدان السبعين، بإذن الله، قريباً.
وعن دور أم الشهيد التي ضحت بأبنائها ولا تزال حتى اليوم تنقل الأسلحة إلى الجبهات لمساندة المقاومة، قالت الذبحاني: الروضة النهمي صديقتنا، وقد استُشهد ابنها في جبهات العز والشرف والبطولة، وهي وأسرتها من الأسر المقاومة من الطراز الأول، هي وزوجها. وأرادت في هذه المعركة أن تقوم بدورها، فقامت بشراء معدل بمبلغ 30,000 ريال سعودي، وذهبت به إلى جبهة الدفاع الجوي وسلمته للأبطال هناك، وقالت لهم: «الله ثم النصر، النصر، ما نريد سوى تحرير الجمهورية اليمنية من المليشيا الحوثية».
وأضافت أن الروضة تريد إيصال رسالة عن دور المرأة اليمنية وأمهات الشهداء، مفادها أنه يجب الثأر لدمائهم، مشيرة إلى أنها ليست وحدها، فهناك العشرات من النساء، من أمهات الشهداء، لديهن قصص كثيرة يصعب سردها؛ بعضهن بعن هواتفهن لدعم الجبهة، وأخريات بعن ذهبهن، وواحدة باعت سيارة ابنها. وهي قصص كثيرة تجسد مواقف حرائر تعز في الوقوف إلى جانب أبنائهن في الجبهات لتشجيعهم. وهناك أخريات يقفن في الجبهات ويخضن المعارك جنباً إلى جنب مع الرجال، وبعضهن يعملن في الشرطة والمرور وتأمين الشوارع. فالنساء في تعز شريكات للرجال في الدفاع عن المقدسات والدين أولاً، ثم عن الجمهورية والدولة والحرية والكرامة.
In Taiz, women do not stand behind the battle; they fight it with the heart of a mother, the will of a fighter, and the faith of those who refuse to let their country’s dignity be taken away, with a determination that believes victory is coming through the resolve of men and the support of the Arab coalition.
The story unfolds in the city described as “the dreamer,” vividly embodied by an entire community that has decided to be a partner in the battle to restore the republic, transforming the pain of women who have lost their sons into strength, tears into determination, and sacrifices into fuel for resilience, whether from those in the city center, outside it, or expatriates, intertwining tales of sacrifice and steadfastness in the face of siege and war, proving that defending the homeland is not just about a rifle, but also about faith, patience, and unbreakable giving, until Yemen regains its freedom and dignity.
A Unified Front Against the Houthis
“Okaz” spoke to Hayat Al-Dhabhani, the head of the Hayat Relief Foundation and a community activist, who said: We believe in the cause, and Taiz is a cradle for all Yemeni communities of various spectrums. This city has knowledge and culture; it does not accept to be a slave to anyone, and there is no master here except for the people. It is the city of resistance, and it cannot submit to the Houthis, who want to demean the dignity of the Yemeni people.
She added: In this city, we do not call for war, but when its sons realized that their republic was in danger, they set aside culture and knowledge and took up arms, wanting to send a message that the Republic of Yemen was consecrated with the precious blood of free ancestors, and we are walking in their path.
A Cohesive and Strong Community
She pointed out that the community is committed to this national value, which is why Taiz is different from other provinces in its cohesion and preservation of national principles, as it has a degree of freedom, and education is excellent there, with its children being educated and cultured.
She noted that the national sentiment that Taiz possesses in defending the republic does not diminish the importance of other provinces, adding: We are all in the same boat, and we will swim to the shore of safety.
She emphasized that Taiz is always the beating heart, explaining that the terrorist Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi wagered on the fall of Taiz in two weeks, but it has withstood for 12 consecutive years, and even now it continues to make sacrifices.
Regarding the role of families in supporting the army and the resistance, Al-Dhabhani said: Everyone in this city resists until it is liberated from the militia; the young and the old, women and men, and everyone looks forward to a happy and bright Yemen that we all dream of. We, the people of Taiz, stand united behind our leader, President Rashad Al-Alimi, supporting and backing our sons in this battle.
Thank You to Saudi Arabia, Leadership and People
She indicated that the people of Taiz thank the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by Saudi Arabia, for their brotherly and heroic stances, saying: We extend our gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and we tell them: Taiz will not forget the stances of men in times of hardship.
She added: As a Yemeni family and a Taiz family, we say to our brothers and sisters in Saudi Arabia: We will not forget your kindness, and we are victorious with your support and with our principles and faith in the cause, and we are victorious with the blood of our sons and the sacrifices made in this city.
Regarding her message to the people of Taiz inside Yemen and abroad, Al-Dhabhani said: Everyone here in the city of Taiz and outside it, including expatriates, is one hand; everyone supports and backs the national army and the popular resistance in the battle for liberation, whether by purchasing ammunition or clothing, preparing meals, or buying medicines and nutrition. Everyone in Taiz feels responsible for their city and for every man fighting for our sanctities, our religion, and our dignity.
Community Support from Houthi Areas
She pointed out that the community in Taiz and families have proactively taken the initiative to work and provide all kinds of support; some take care of moral aspects, such as raising spirits with chants and poems, while women bake cakes that carry messages to fighters urging them to remain steadfast, prepare food, and donate gold. Expatriates also provide various types of support and send money to buy weapons; everyone in this city resists both inside and outside.
She added: I won’t hide from you that areas under militia control also provide support, and we receive their donations, and we are surprised that their support is greater than the support coming from liberated areas or expatriates, as if they want to say with this support: Save us from this militia, for we are suffering from it.
The community activist in Taiz emphasized that what they provide for their children on the fronts of honor will not harm them, whether in Taiz or in Yemen, affirming their confidence in victory, adding: We in Taiz are united as one man, and we are confident in the support of our brothers in Saudi Arabia for the national army to eliminate this terrorist Houthi militia that threatens the security of the region, not just the city of Taiz.
Support from Expatriates for Taiz
The head of the Hayat Relief Foundation expressed her appreciation for expatriates, who she said play an active and essential role in the national battle; they are men of stances and support, standing alongside the national army and the popular resistance.
She noted that Yemeni expatriates confirm, through their stances, that they want to send a message that they are in the same trench and will defend their republic, adding: And we, in turn, say to them: Continue to support your country until it rises, and it will return to you with goodness, and the entire people salute your national stances, and you are partners in victory, and victory is near, and the largest celebration of the republic will be in Al-Sabeen Square, God willing, soon.
Regarding the role of the mother of the martyr who sacrificed her sons and continues to this day to transport weapons to the fronts to support the resistance, Al-Dhabhani said: Al-Rawda Al-Nahmi is our friend, and her son was martyred on the fronts of honor, dignity, and heroism, and she and her family are among the first-class resisting families, she and her husband. In this battle, she wanted to play her part, so she bought a weapon for 30,000 Saudi Riyals and took it to the air defense front and handed it to the heroes there, telling them: “God and then victory, victory; all we want is to liberate the Republic of Yemen from the Houthi militia.”
She added that Al-Rawda wants to convey a message about the role of Yemeni women and the mothers of martyrs, which is that blood must be avenged, noting that she is not alone, as there are dozens of women, mothers of martyrs, with many stories that are difficult to tell; some sold their phones to support the front, others sold their gold, and one sold her son’s car. These are many stories that embody the stances of the free women of Taiz standing by their sons on the fronts to encourage them. There are others who stand on the fronts and fight alongside men, and some work in police and traffic to secure the streets. Women in Taiz are partners with men in defending sanctities and religion first, then the republic, the state, freedom, and dignity.
