Reliable Yemeni sources revealed today (Saturday) the death of the head of ballistic missile and drone operations for the militia and one of Iran’s arms in an airstrike along with dozens of his aides and militants on the outskirts of Taiz on (Wednesday).
The sources reported that Bakil Mohammed Al-Hadhrami, known as “Abu Al-Fadl Al-Hadhrami,” who held the position of head of ballistic missile and drone operations for the Houthi militia, was killed along with several of his aides, including Mohammed Mohsen Ash’ab, in an airstrike in southern Taiz.
The sources indicated that Al-Hadhrami was trained by Revolutionary Guard experts in Tehran and is considered one of the hidden leaders of the second tier.
Houthi activists acknowledged the deaths of leaders Ahmed Rajeh Abdullah Al-Shoumi, Aref Ali Yahya Al-Matari, Ibrahim Jaber Naji Nasser, Mohammed Ammar Rabi Naji Al-Matari, Youssef Ahmed Abdo Ahmed Nassar, and Majed Yahya Hassan Yahya Al-Ghathimi in the ongoing battles in Taiz Governorate.
The government forces in southern Taiz had arrested the drone operations official, and according to information, the forces also seized drones that were in his possession to carry out operations against the army, which are now being used to conduct operations against the Houthis.
In a related context, Yemeni activists in the Jabal Habashi district west of Taiz reported today (Saturday) that dozens of vehicles transported bodies from the Al-Dabab area towards Al-Hubban, indicating that most of them were decomposed and had been there for days.
Eyewitnesses clarified that more than 270 bodies were seen being transported by vehicles through the Jabal Habashi triangle west of Taiz coming from the Al-Dabab area, which witnessed the fiercest battles in the past three days.
The Houthi militia had resorted to a concealment tactic in an attempt to enter the city of Taiz by forcing water tank owners, but the security awareness, responsibility, and strong ties between the army and the people prevented the militia’s plans from succeeding, and all those who tried to hide in the tanks were arrested.
According to observers, despite the incitement and the fatwa issued to permit the bloodshed of the people of Taiz, the militia has reached a state of despair in achieving its goals of storming the city, which is home to more than two million residents.
