بعد 4 أشهر من اغتيال والده علي خامنئي والإعلان عن موعد دفنه، سادت الشارع الإيراني اليوم (السبت) تساؤلات حول ما إذا كان المرشد الجديد مجتبى خامنئي سيشارك في مراسم التشييع ويظهر علناً للمرة الأولى.
وأفصحت اللجنة المنظمة، في بيان، عن تفاصيل مراسم الوداع والتشييع والدفن، التي ستُقام في طهران، وقم، ومشهد خلال يوليو القادم، مؤكدة أن التشييع سيبدأ في طهران في الرابع من يوليو، ويُختتم بدفنه في مدينة مشهد شمال شرقي البلاد في التاسع من يوليو.
وذكر البيان أن أفراداً من عائلة خامنئي، وعدداً من الشخصيات المقربة سيدفنون معه، داعياً الإيرانيين إلى المشاركة في المراسم.
وأوضح البيان أن تفاصيل أخرى ستُعلن لاحقاً، لكنه لم يحدد ما إذا كان المرشد الإيراني الجديد مجتبى خامنئي سيشارك علناً في تشييع والده، خصوصاً أنه لم يظهر منذ توليه المنصب خلفاً لوالده، الذي اغتيل في غارة جوية خلال الأيام الأولى من الحرب أواخر فبراير الماضي.
وأكد عضو مجلس «خبراء القيادة» في إيران أحمد خاتمي إصابة المرشد الجديد مجتبى خامنئي في ساقه خلال الأيام الأولى من الحرب الأمريكية الإسرائيلية على البلاد، مبيناً أن خطورة الإصابة طرحت احتمال بتر الساق قبل إنقاذها طبياً.
وتُعد هذه التصريحات أول اعتراف إيراني رسمي بخطورة إصابة مجتبى في الهجوم الأمريكي الإسرائيلي، وسط غيابه الكامل عن المشهد منذ انتخابه في مارس الماضي خلفاً لوالده علي خامنئي.
واستبعدت وسائل إعلام غربية مشاركة مجتبى خامنئي في جنازة والده لدواعٍ أمنية، فيما رأت وسائل إعلام أخرى أن إقامة مراسم التشييع ستحظى بإجراءات أمنية مشددة، كما أن الاتفاق بين أمريكا وإيران يعزز احتمالية ظهوره إذا كان يتمتع بحالة صحية جيدة، أما إذا صحت التقارير التي تتحدث عن أنه لا يزال يعاني من إصاباته فمن المرجح ألا يظهر في المراسم.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام إيرانية عن معاون الشؤون الاجتماعية والثقافية في بلدية طهران محمد علي توكلي زاده قوله: «إن مهمة تأمين وتنظيم الجنازة أُوكلت إلى الحرس الثوري»، موضحاً أنه جرى تخصيص 3 أيام لتلقي التعازي والوداع، تعقبها صلاة الجنازة ومراسم التشييع الرسمية، لكنه لم يؤكد ظهور المرشد الجديد مجتبى، ما يترك باب التساؤل مفتوحاً.
Four months after the assassination of his father Ali Khamenei and the announcement of the date of his burial, questions filled the Iranian streets today (Saturday) about whether the new leader Mojtaba Khamenei will participate in the funeral ceremonies and appear publicly for the first time.
The organizing committee revealed, in a statement, the details of the farewell, funeral, and burial ceremonies, which will be held in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad during the coming July, confirming that the funeral will begin in Tehran on July 4 and conclude with the burial in the city of Mashhad in the northeast of the country on July 9.
The statement mentioned that members of the Khamenei family and several close figures will be buried with him, calling on Iranians to participate in the ceremonies.
The statement clarified that further details will be announced later, but it did not specify whether the new Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei will publicly participate in his father’s funeral, especially since he has not appeared since taking office as his father’s successor, who was assassinated in an airstrike during the early days of the war at the end of February.
Member of the Assembly of Experts in Iran, Ahmad Khatami, confirmed that the new leader Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in his leg during the early days of the American-Israeli war on the country, indicating that the severity of the injury raised the possibility of amputation before it was medically saved.
These statements represent the first official Iranian acknowledgment of the seriousness of Mojtaba’s injury in the American-Israeli attack, amid his complete absence from the scene since his election in March as his father Ali Khamenei’s successor.
Western media have ruled out Mojtaba Khamenei’s participation in his father’s funeral for security reasons, while other media outlets believe that the funeral ceremonies will be subject to strict security measures. Additionally, the agreement between the U.S. and Iran increases the likelihood of his appearance if he is in good health; however, if reports that he is still suffering from his injuries are true, it is likely that he will not appear at the ceremonies.
Iranian media quoted Mohammad Ali Tavakoli Zadeh, the assistant for social and cultural affairs in the Tehran municipality, saying: “The task of securing and organizing the funeral has been entrusted to the Revolutionary Guard,” explaining that three days have been allocated for condolences and farewells, followed by the funeral prayer and the official funeral ceremonies, but he did not confirm the appearance of the new leader Mojtaba, leaving the door to speculation open.
