Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al Nassr, has come very close to reaching the scoring milestone of 1000 after managing to score a hat-trick, leading his team to a strong victory over Al Khulood with a score of 5/3 in the match held at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, as part of the 12th round of the Saudi Pro League.
With this hat-trick, Ronaldo reached a total of 985 official goals in his amazing professional career, leaving him just 15 goals away from the historic dream of reaching 1000 goals.
Distribution of Official Goals and Historic Beginnings
The Portuguese star’s scoring journey began in 2002 with Sporting Lisbon, where he scored five official goals before moving to Manchester United in 2003, starting his global stardom and scoring 145 goals with them. In 2009, he moved to Real Madrid to create an unprecedented historical era, during which he scored 450 goals, making him the club’s all-time top scorer. He then embarked on a new experience with Juventus starting in 2018, where he scored 101 goals. At the beginning of 2023, Ronaldo joined Al Nassr, extending his list of achievements to 138 goals in the “global” jersey. Throughout his journey with the Portuguese national team, which began in 2003, he managed to score 146 goals, making him the all-time top scorer for national teams across eras.
The Empire of “Hat-tricks” Throughout History
The hat-trick he scored against Al Khulood is the 67th of his amazing professional career, continuing his dominance over this record thanks to his exceptional ability to find the net in major occasions. These historical hat-tricks are distributed as follows: 44 hat-tricks with Real Madrid, followed by the Portuguese national team with 10 hat-tricks, and then Al Nassr with seven hat-tricks after his latest three-goal performance, while his tally is equal with Manchester United and Juventus, with three hat-tricks for each team.
The Story is Not Over Yet
While everyone is waiting for Ronaldo to reach the 1000 mark, what the Portuguese star is demonstrating confirms to everyone that he will go beyond this number, especially since the sports season is still long, with only 11 rounds having passed out of 34 in the Saudi Pro League, in addition to other commitments such as the AFC Champions League, the King’s Cup, and the Saudi Super Cup, along with his participation with the Portuguese national team.
