لقي 9 أشخاص مقتلهم وأصيب 22 آخرون، صباح (السبت)، في حادث مروع في مصر، إثر تصادم عنيف بين سيارة نقل ثقيل «تريلا» وميكروباص كان يقل عدداً من العمال، أعلى تقاطع الطريق الأوسطي مع محور الضبعة بمحافظة الجيزة.
وتلقت الأجهزة الأمنية بلاغاً بوقوع الحادث، فانتقلت قوات الشرطة وسيارات الإسعاف إلى الموقع، حيث جرى التعامل مع المصابين ونقلهم إلى المستشفيات لتلقي الرعاية الطبية، فيما نُقلت جثامين الضحايا لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
وأظهرت المعلومات الأولية أن التصادم وقع بين شاحنة نقل ثقيل وسيارة ميكروباص مخصصة لنقل العمال، وأسفر عن سقوط عدد كبير من الضحايا في مشهد يعيد تسليط الضوء على مخاطر حوادث الطرق التي تشترك فيها مركبات النقل الثقيل وسيارات نقل الركاب.
ودفعت الجهات المعنية بقوات المرور إلى موقع الحادث للتعامل مع آثاره ورفع المركبات المتضررة، والعمل على تسيير الحركة المرورية، بالتزامن مع مباشرة التحقيقات للوقوف على ملابساته وتحديد أسباب التصادم والمسؤوليات المرتبطة به.
ويُعد الطريق الأوسطي من المحاور المرورية المهمة في نطاق القاهرة الكبرى، إذ يربط عدداً من المدن والمناطق العمرانية، ويتقاطع مع محاور رئيسية، من بينها محور الضبعة، الذي يمثل امتداداً لحركة التنقل بين القاهرة والساحل الشمالي.
وتواصل الجهات المختصة فحص موقع الحادث وسماع أقوال الشهود، فيما تتولى النيابة العامة التحقيق لتحديد الأسباب الدقيقة للتصادم، وما إذا كان ناجماً عن خطأ بشري أو خلل فني أو عوامل أخرى.
Nine people were killed and 22 others were injured on Saturday morning in a horrific accident in Egypt, following a violent collision between a heavy-duty truck and a microbus carrying several workers, at the intersection of the Middle Road with the Dabaa Axis in Giza Governorate.
The security authorities received a report of the accident, and police forces and ambulances rushed to the scene, where they dealt with the injured and transported them to hospitals for medical care, while the bodies of the victims were moved for the necessary legal procedures.
Initial information revealed that the collision occurred between a heavy-duty truck and a microbus designated for transporting workers, resulting in a large number of casualties in a scene that highlights the dangers of road accidents involving heavy transport vehicles and passenger transport cars.
The relevant authorities dispatched traffic forces to the accident site to manage its aftermath, remove the damaged vehicles, and work on facilitating traffic flow, while investigations began to determine the circumstances and identify the causes of the collision and the responsibilities associated with it.
The Middle Road is considered one of the important traffic axes in the Greater Cairo area, as it connects several cities and urban areas and intersects with major axes, including the Dabaa Axis, which represents an extension of the movement between Cairo and the North Coast.
The relevant authorities continue to examine the accident site and hear witness statements, while the public prosecution is investigating to determine the exact causes of the collision, and whether it was due to human error, technical malfunction, or other factors.
