يبدو أن الضربة الأمريكية الأخيرة على إيران أربكت القرار السياسي الداخلي، إذ أعلن الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان أن المرشد مجتبى خامنئي أصدر توجيهات بشأن الانخراط في مسار تفاوضي لمعالجة حالة «اللا حرب واللا سلم»، وفق ما نقلت عنه وسائل إعلام إيرانية. فيما اعتبرت وزارة الخارجية أن الدبلوماسية مع الولايات المتحدة لا يمكن أن تتقدم في ظل الانتهاكات المتكررة لوقف إطلاق النار.
وشدد بزشكيان على ضرورة الخروج من هذا الوضع، مؤكداً أن الحرب ليست في مصلحة البلاد، لكنه قال إن إيران «لن تتراجع إذا تعرضت لعدوان». وأفاد بأن خامنئي سمح باستمرار الحوار، وقال «اذهبوا وحلوا المسألة»، وفق تعبيره.
وأكد أن «الحرب ليست بالتأكيد في مصلحة البلاد»، معتبرا أن «على العدو أن يرى استسلامنا وتراجعنا في أحلامه فقط».
وفي تناقض مع هذا الموقف، رأى المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن الجهود الدبلوماسية مع الولايات المتحدة لا يمكن أن تتقدم في ظل الانتهاكات المتكررة لوقف إطلاق النار، عقب ضربات متبادلة لطهران وواشنطن وقعت ليلاً.
واتهم بقائي واشنطن بتقويض العملية الدبلوماسية من خلال رسائل متناقضة وتغيير المواقف وانتهاكات متكررة لوقف إطلاق النار، قائلاً إن إسرائيل تضر بالعملية أيضاً من خلال الانتهاكات المتكررة لوقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، وفق ما نقلت عنه وكالة«رويترز». وقال «بعد ما حدث خلال الليل، نحتاج إلى إعادة تقييم المسار الدبلوماسي مع واشنطن… فأي عملية دبلوماسية تتطلب حدا أدنى من الاستقرار».
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت هيئة عمليات التجارة البحرية البريطانية أن سفينة شحن أبلغت عن اقتراب قارب صغير منها وعلى متنه ستة مسلحين، على بعد نحو 88 ميلاً بحرياً إلى الجنوب الغربي من بلحاف في اليمن.
وأضافت الهيئة في بيان، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن تبادلاً لإطلاق النار وقع بين القارب الصغير وفريق الأمن المسلح على متن السفينة، ما أدى إلى ابتعاد القارب بعد ذلك.
وأعلنت الهيئة البحرية تلقيها بلاغاً عن حادثة على بعد 20 ميلاً بحرياً شمال شرق ميناء صحار العماني. وأشارت إلى أن سفينة أبلغت عن إصابة شخص وفقدان اثنين من أفراد الطاقم. وذكرت أن السلطات أبلغت عن اندلاع حريق في غرفة محرك ناقلة وقود.
It seems that the recent American strike on Iran has confused the internal political decision-making, as Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian announced that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued directives regarding engaging in a negotiating path to address the state of “no war and no peace,” according to Iranian media reports. Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry considered that diplomacy with the United States cannot progress in light of the repeated violations of the ceasefire.
Bezhakian emphasized the necessity of moving out of this situation, asserting that war is not in the country’s interest, but he stated that Iran “will not back down if subjected to aggression.” He reported that Khamenei allowed for the continuation of dialogue, saying, “Go and resolve the issue,” as he expressed.
He confirmed that “war is certainly not in the country’s interest,” considering that “the enemy should see our surrender and retreat only in their dreams.”
In contrast to this position, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei stated today (Wednesday) that diplomatic efforts with the United States cannot progress in light of the repeated violations of the ceasefire, following reciprocal strikes between Tehran and Washington that occurred overnight.
Baqaei accused Washington of undermining the diplomatic process through contradictory messages, changing positions, and repeated violations of the ceasefire, stating that Israel is also harming the process through repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon, according to what the Reuters agency reported. He said, “After what happened overnight, we need to reassess the diplomatic path with Washington… Any diplomatic process requires a minimum of stability.”
On another note, the British Maritime Trade Operations announced that a cargo ship reported a small boat approaching it with six armed men on board, about 88 nautical miles southwest of Balhaf in Yemen.
The agency added in a statement today (Wednesday) that an exchange of gunfire occurred between the small boat and the armed security team on board the ship, which led to the boat moving away afterward.
The maritime agency announced that it received a report of an incident about 20 nautical miles northeast of the Omani port of Sohar. It indicated that a ship reported one person injured and two crew members missing. It mentioned that authorities reported a fire breaking out in the engine room of a fuel tanker.
