كشفت القوات المسلحة المصرية عن حصيلة جهود قوات حرس الحدود خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية، في إطار عمليات تأمين الحدود ومكافحة التهريب والأنشطة غير المشروعة على مختلف الاتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة، والتي أسفرت عن ضبط كميات كبيرة من الأسلحة والذخائر والمواد المخدرة والبضائع المهربة، إلى جانب إحباط مئات المحاولات للتسلل والهجرة غير الشرعية.
وبحسب بيان رسمي صدر اليوم (الخميس)، عن المتحدث العسكري الرسمي للقوات المسلحة المصرية، العقيد أركان حرب أحمد عتمان علي، تواصل قوات حرس الحدود تكثيف جهودها للتصدي للمهربين والعناصر الإجرامية، وتوجيه عدد من الضربات القاصمة للعناصر الخارجة عن القانون، بالتعاون مع الأفرع الرئيسية للقوات المسلحة والتشكيلات التعبوية.
ضبط أسلحة وذخائر وكميات كبيرة من المخدرات
وأوضح البيان أنه في مجال الأسلحة والذخائر، تمكنت قوات حرس الحدود خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية من ضبط 27 واقعة، أسفرت عن ضبط 1149 قطعة سلاح، وكميات من الذخائر مختلفة الأعيرة، تُقدّر بنحو 187 ألف طلقة متنوعة.
وفي مجال مكافحة المواد المخدرة، أسفرت العمليات عن ضبط 90 واقعة، تضمنت 241 طناً من المواد المخدرة مختلفة الأنواع، ونحو 1.5 مليون قرص مخدر من أنواع مختلفة، إضافة إلى قرابة 37 طناً من مخدر الهيدرو المطحون، فضلاً عن ضبط 335 فداناً من الزراعات المخدرة.
ضبط بضائع مهربة وسجائر وهواتف محمولة
وفي إطار مكافحة تهريب البضائع غير خالصة الرسوم الجمركية، تمكنت القوات من ضبط 410 وقائع، شملت 1.5 مليون قاروصة سجائر، و10 آلاف عبوة تبغ، و1250 هاتفاً محمولاً، و80 ألف قطعة من الألعاب النارية، و12 ألف لتر من المواد البترولية، إلى جانب كميات كبيرة من البضائع المتنوعة غير خالصة الرسوم الجمركية.
إحباط التنقيب العشوائي عن الذهب
وفي مجال مكافحة التنقيب العشوائي عن خام الذهب، أسفرت جهود قوات حرس الحدود عن ضبط 178 واقعة، جرى خلالها ضبط 350 طناً من الأحجار المخلوطة بخام الذهب، و450 ماكينة لتوليد الكهرباء، و350 جهاز هيلتي، و53 جهازاً للكشف عن المعادن.
كما تمكنت القوات من ضبط 805 عربات مختلفة الأنواع، استُخدمت في أعمال التهريب والتنقيب العشوائي عن خام الذهب.
وفي مجال ضبط العملات، أشار البيان إلى ضبط ما يقارب 14 مليون جنيه مصري، مؤكداً إحالة جميع المضبوطات إلى جهات الاختصاص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة حيالها.
إحباط محاولات التسلل والهجرة غير الشرعية
وفي سياق متصل، تمكنت قوات حرس الحدود من إحباط 213 محاولة للتسلل والهجرة غير الشرعية لأفراد من مختلف الجنسيات على مختلف الاتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة، بإجمالي 4432 فرداً.
وأشار البيان كذلك إلى تسهيل العودة الطوعية لـ143384 فرداً سودانياً إلى دولة السودان الشقيقة، من خلال معبري أرقين وقسطل.
استمرار تأمين الحدود والمنافذ
وأكدت القوات المسلحة أن هذه النتائج تأتي استمراراً للجهود المكثفة والإجراءات التي تتخذها قوات حرس الحدود ليلاً ونهاراً لتأمين حدود الدولة المصرية، بالتعاون مع الأفرع الرئيسية للقوات المسلحة والتشكيلات التعبوية.
وتتزامن هذه الجهود مع تكثيف إجراءات الإحكام والسيطرة على المنافذ والمعابر الحدودية على مختلف الاتجاهات الإستراتيجية، بهدف التصدي لمحاولات التهريب والأنشطة غير المشروعة، وتعزيز أمن الحدود المصرية.
The Egyptian Armed Forces revealed the results of the efforts of the Border Guard Forces over the past three months, as part of operations to secure the borders and combat smuggling and illegal activities across various strategic directions of the state, which resulted in the seizure of large quantities of weapons, ammunition, narcotics, and smuggled goods, in addition to thwarting hundreds of attempts at infiltration and illegal immigration.
According to an official statement issued today (Thursday) by the official military spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Colonel Ahmed Attman Ali, the Border Guard Forces continue to intensify their efforts to confront smugglers and criminal elements, delivering several decisive blows to lawless elements, in cooperation with the main branches of the armed forces and the operational formations.
Seizure of Weapons, Ammunition, and Large Quantities of Drugs
The statement clarified that in the field of weapons and ammunition, the Border Guard Forces managed to seize 27 incidents over the past three months, resulting in the confiscation of 1,149 firearms and quantities of ammunition of various calibers, estimated at about 187,000 assorted rounds.
In the field of combating narcotics, operations resulted in the seizure of 90 incidents, which included 241 tons of various types of narcotics, and about 1.5 million pills of different kinds, in addition to nearly 37 tons of ground hydro drug, as well as the seizure of 335 acres of narcotic crops.
Seizure of Smuggled Goods, Cigarettes, and Mobile Phones
As part of combating the smuggling of goods not cleared of customs duties, the forces managed to seize 410 incidents, which included 1.5 million cartons of cigarettes, 10,000 tobacco packets, 1,250 mobile phones, 80,000 pieces of fireworks, and 12,000 liters of petroleum products, in addition to large quantities of various goods not cleared of customs duties.
Thwarting Illegal Gold Mining
In the field of combating illegal gold ore mining, the efforts of the Border Guard Forces resulted in the seizure of 178 incidents, during which 350 tons of stones mixed with gold ore, 450 electricity generators, 350 Hilti machines, and 53 metal detectors were confiscated.
The forces also managed to seize 805 vehicles of various types used in smuggling and illegal gold ore mining activities.
In the area of currency seizures, the statement indicated the confiscation of nearly 14 million Egyptian pounds, confirming that all seized items have been referred to the relevant authorities for necessary legal actions.
Thwarting Infiltration and Illegal Immigration Attempts
In a related context, the Border Guard Forces managed to thwart 213 attempts at infiltration and illegal immigration by individuals of various nationalities across different strategic directions of the state, totaling 4,432 individuals.
The statement also noted the facilitation of the voluntary return of 143,384 Sudanese individuals to the sisterly country of Sudan, through the Arqin and Qastal crossings.
Continuing to Secure Borders and Crossings
The Armed Forces confirmed that these results are a continuation of the intensive efforts and measures taken by the Border Guard Forces day and night to secure the borders of the Egyptian state, in cooperation with the main branches of the armed forces and the operational formations.
These efforts coincide with intensified measures to tighten control over border crossings and points in various strategic directions, aimed at confronting smuggling attempts and illegal activities, and enhancing the security of the Egyptian borders.
