أكد رئيس مجلس الشورى اليمني النائب الأول لرئيس المؤتمر الشعبي العام الدكتور أحمد عبيد بن دغر، أنه كان لا بد من عملية «فجر اليمن» لوضع حد لمأساة الشعب اليمني، واستعادة الدولة وتحرير ما تبقى من الأرض اليمنية حتى صنعاء.
وقال، في حوار أجرته معه «عكاظ»، إن القوات المسلحة اليمنية بمختلف تشكيلاتها تتقدم في تعز والمخا ومأرب والجوف ولحج، وستستمر في تقدمها، فيما تتقهقر مليشيات العدو، وتفر أمام زحف الأبطال ورجال المقاومة، مشيراً إلى أن هذا التقدم في هذه الجبهات لا يعني الهدوء في الجبهات الأخرى، كجبهة الضالع أو البيضاء أو حجة أو صعدة، مبيناً أن جبهة تعز هي الأكثر سخونة، والأكثر ضراوة، ويدفع العدو بأرتال وموجات من المغرر بهم، وقد تصدى لهم أبناء تعز الميامين ببسالة منقطعة النظير، ومعهم ألوية العمالقة ودرع الوطن من أبناء المحافظات الجنوبية. وقال: تعز مقبرة الحوثيين، وهي من ستغير المعركة وتقودها نحو صنعاء. وتحدث رئيس مجلس الشورى اليمني عن مواضيع مهمة من خلال الحوار التالي:
تهديد الحوثيين للتجارة الدولية
• كيف تنظرون إلى عملية فجر اليمن؟
•• لقد بلغ السيل الزبى مع الحوثيين، وأضرار حربهم في اليمن امتدت للإقليم، بل هددت مسار التجارة الدولية. سنوات من المتاجرة بدماء اليمنيين، لذا كان لا بد من عملية «فجر اليمن» لوضع حد لمأساة الشعب اليمني، واستعادة الدولة وتحرير ما تبقى من الأرض اليمنية حتى صنعاء، واستئصال هذه المليشيات المتمردة هو الضرورة التي لا مناص منها ليس لليمن وحده ولكن للمنطقة كلها.
لقد أضر الحوثيون باستقرار المنطقة، وتسببوا في هذا البؤس الذي تمر به اليمن، وهم فوق ذلك وجهوا سهام حقدهم نحو الأشقاء في المملكة العربية السعودية، واستهدفوا المواطن السعودي، والأعيان المدنية، ويواصلون اعتداءاتهم وجرائمهم دون وازع من ضمير، أو رادع من عقل.
باختصار «فجر اليمن» هي مرحلة حاسمة في الصراع، وقد بلغ الصراع الآن ذروته، ويمكننا اعتبارها منعطفاً في مسار الأزمة والحرب في اليمن، ومخططاً لها أن تحسم هذا الصراع الذي امتد سنوات، ونأمل أن يستعيد اليمن عافيته واستقراره وأمنه.
الشعب يدعم «فجر اليمن»
• ما مدى رضاكم عما تحقق من انتصارات منذ إعلان العملية؟
•• يعلم شعبنا أن المعارك الأخيرة والسابقة كانت تفرض علينا فرضاً، وأن الحوثيين لا يفهمون سوى لغة القوة، لذا شعبنا كله يشعر بالرضا إزاء المسار الذي اتخذته عملية فجر اليمن، وهو يدعم بكل تأكيد قرار القيادة السياسية، ممثلة في مجلس القيادة الرئاسي ورئيسه الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي، والمعنويات مرتفعة، وأيام قليلة تفصلنا عن العملية، لكن ما تحقق خلالها من مكاسب كان كبيراً، وموقف الأشقاء إلى جانبنا يحظى بتقدير شعبنا، حالة امتنان يمنية عظيمة لأشقائنا في المملكة العربية السعودية، لموقفهم التاريخي الداعم لبلدنا.
القوات المسلحة وتقهقر الحوثيين
• انطلقت القوات المسلحة في جميع الجبهات والوجهة تحرير كامل التراب اليمني، فكيف تنظرون إلى سير العمليات؟
•• ميدانياً، قواتنا تتقدم في تعز وفي المخا، وفي مأرب وفي الجوف وفي لحج، وستستمر في تقدمها، فيما تتقهقر مليشيات العدو. وتفر أمام زحف أبطال القوات المسلحة، ورجال المقاومة، وهذا التقدم في هذه الجبهات لا يعني الهدوء في الجبهات الأخرى، كجبهة الضالع أو البيضاء أو حجة أو صعدة.
هذه الانتصارات ليست بدون ثمن كبير، هناك المئات من الشهداء والجرحى ولكن الشعب يرى في تضحياته الجسيمة قرباناً لحريته، وسبيلاً وحيداً للخلاص من الحوثيين، وما يدعون إليه من عنصرية سلالية مُقِيتة.
جبهة تعز الأكثر سخونة
• تبقى جبهة تعز الأكثر صعوبة، كيف يمكن كسر شوكة الحوثي في هذه المحافظة؟
•• نعم هذه الجبهة هي الأكثر سخونة، والأكثر ضراوة، يدفع العدو بأرتال وموجات من المغرر بهم، وقد تصدى لهم أبناء تعز الميامين ببسالة منقطعة النظير، ومعهم ألوية العمالقة ودرع الوطن من أبناء المحافظات الجنوبية. تعز مقبرة الحوثيين، تعز ستغير، وستقود المعركة نحو صنعاء. استعادت قواتنا المسلحة مواقع مهمة في الوازعية والكدهة وجبل حبيش وذو باب والتربة، وهم يزحفون على المخا لتحريرها، ولضمان السيطرة على باب المندب. أما كيف يمكن كسر شوكة الحوثيين في تعز وفي عموم اليمن، فإن من شروط ذلك أن تتحرك كل الجبهات أو معظمها في وقت واحد وذلك لتشتيت قوات العدو، واستغلال نقاط ضعفه، واستنزاف قدراته العسكرية، مع إحكام السيطرة على منافذ التهريب البرية والبحرية، وليس من الحكمة والتدبير إدارة المعركة من جبهة واحدة كان العدو قد اختارها وحددها، ورمى بثقله المادي والبشري باتجاهها، ينبغي ألا تتحمل تعز وحدها ثقل الهجوم، ولا بد من تزويد الوحدات العسكرية بالسلاح والذخيرة وغير ذلك من متطلبات المعركة.
الحوثيون فئة منبوذة في اليمن
• هل أنتم واثقون من تخليص اليمن من الحوثيين؟
•• نعم، كل الثقة، الحوثيون فئة منبوذة في اليمن، ولن يقبل هذا الشعب الأبي أن تحكمه شرذمة طاغية، تنسب لنفسها السيادة، وعلو المكانة، تستبيح كرامتهم، وتنهب ممتلكاتهم، وتقتل أبناءهم.
المجتمع الدولي وحل الأزمة
• يتابع المجتمع الدولي ما يجري في اليمن.. كيف هو تعاطيه مع الأزمة اليمنية؟
•• بدأ اهتمام المجتمع الدولي بالأزمة في اليمن من خلال الأمم المتحدة في 2011، في تلك السنة أرسلت الأمم المتحدة أول مبعوث لها لليمن، ثم توالى بعد ذلك المبعوثون، كما خص مجلس الأمن اليمن بقرارات مهمة، أهمها القرار 2216، الذي وحَّد موقف المجتمع الدولي إزاء الأزمة في اليمن، ومنح التدخل العربي بقيادة المملكة شرعية دولية، بعد طلب رسمي للمساعدة من القيادة اليمنية، لكن كل هذا الجهد الدولي لم يعطنا حتى الآن حلاً لأزمتنا السياسية، وهي سياسية بامتياز، وذلك للطبيعة العدوانية المسلحة للمليشيات الحوثية. ربما نجحت الأمم المتحدة في مجالات الدعم الإغاثي والإنساني، رغم أن 95% من هذا الدعم كان مصدره المملكة العربية السعودية بدرجة أولى، وكذلك دول الخليج، ودول أخرى كبريطانيا وأوروبا واليابان والصين. وللأسف فقد تسرب بعض هذا الدعم للحوثيين الذين استخدموه استخداماً مخالفاً لمقاصده، ووجهوا معظمه لدعم مجهودهم الحربي، هذا باعتراف بعض مسؤولي الأمم نفسها الذين عملوا في اليمن.
تصنيف الحوثيين والإجماع الدولي
• هل ترون بأن هذا التعاطي يرقى إلى تحجيم المليشيات والتأكيد على ضرورة مواجهتها باعتبارها أداة إرهابية؟
•• للأسف في تصنيف الحوثيين منظمة إرهابية لم يحدث الإجماع الدولي المطلوب، كان الحوثيون وما زالوا منظمة إرهابية مارست القتل والتدمير والاعتداء على الحقوق والحريات. ربما غيرت بعض الدول موقفها الصامت إزاء الحوثيين بعد هجماتها على طريق التجارة الدولية في البحر الأحمر وباب المندب، نحن ما زلنا حتى اليوم نطالب المجتمع الدولي باتخاذ موقف أكثر حزماً وصرامة مع الحوثيين، ونطالبهم بتطبيق قراراتهم إزاء اليمن، أو الكف عن حمايتهم كما فعلوا ذلك في اتفاق استكهولم الكارثي الذي تسبب في إطالة أمد الأزمة.
منح النازحين مرتباتهم كاملة
• يبقى الحديث عن مأساة النازحين.. ماذا قدمتم لهم في مواجهة مأساتهم التي تسببت فيها المليشيا الحوثية؟
•• منذ بداية الأزمة وبداية النزوح للداخل اليمني، عملنا بقدر الاستطاعة على استيعاب النازحين وهم عندنا إما موظفون لدى الدولة وهؤلاء اتخذنا قراراً في مجلس الوزراء، وقد تشرفت حينها برئاسته، بمنح النازح مرتبه كاملاً، ولدينا من هؤلاء النازحين الآلاف، مرتباتهم تصرف من البنك المركزي إلى جهاتهم الرسمية مباشرة ومنها يتسلمونها.
أما الغالبية الكبيرة من النازحين، فقد كانوا ممن لا يملكون مصدر دخل معلوماً ومعروفاً، وقد فروا من ظلم الحوثيين وبطشهم، هؤلاء قمنا بمساعدة أشقائنا في المملكة ودول التحالف العربي والمجتمع الدولي بتقديم ما يمكن تقديمه لإيوائهم، وتوفير الرعاية ما أمكن لهم، كانوا يحتاجون لكل شيء، من الماء إلى الخيمة، ومن الخيمة إلى المدرسة، ولم يكن توفير الأمن لهم في مخيماتهم بالأمر السهل، ويعود للسلطات المحلية في المحافظات فضل كبير في هذا الشأن. كنت قد أشرت إلى أن معظم الدعم الإغاثي الإنساني يأتي من المملكة العربية السعودية، لذا واجبنا هنا أن نزجي جزيل الشكر وعظيم الامتنان للمملكة ملكاً وولياً للعهد وحكومة وشعباً للمساعدات الإنسانية الإغاثية، التي قام بها مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة الإنسانية منذ نشأته وحتى اليوم، يعود لهذا الدعم السخي من المملكة الفضل الأول في التخفيف من معاناة النازحين. بدون هذا الدعم من المملكة كان يمكن أن تكون حياة النازحين أكثر بؤساً، وبعد ذلك جاء البرنامج السعودي لإعمار وتنمية اليمن. نشط المركز في تغطية حاجات تربوية وصحية وخدمية كثيرة يصعب حصرها هنا، شواهدها كثيرة في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن، وفي كل المحافظات الأخرى، ويحاول البرنامج دائماً المساعدة، مساعدة الحكومة اليمنية على التغلب على بعض المشكلات المستعصية كالكهرباء. نحن نعلم جميعاً أن المملكة وفرت لمحطات الكهرباء من الوقود ما بلغت قيمته مئات الملايين من الدولارات. وتعددت مصادر الدعم السعودي لليمن، واستمرت دون توقف حتى اليوم، وشكلت عامل صمود في وجه الانقلاب الحوثي، ويكفي أن نذكر في اليومين الماضيين، كيف أدخل القرار الملكي الفرحة إلى قلوب اليمنيين بتصحيح أوضاع الموجودين في المملكة المخالفين لأنظمة الإقامة. شعبنا سيحفظ للمملكة هذه المكرمة الأخوية، التي تضاف إلى مساعداتها السابقة، ونحن لا يسعنا سوى أن نكرر الشكر والتقدير لهم.
تحية لأبطال القوات المسلحة
• ما هي كلمتكم لأبطال القوات المسلحة في الجبهات؟
•• نحييكم ضباط وجنود القوات المسلحة، نقف إجلالاً وتعظيماً لشهدائكم وجرحاكم ولتضحياتكم الكبيرة، كنتم وما زلتم سداً منيعاً في وجه الانقلابيين، تصديتم لعنصريتهم وادعاءاتهم الكاذبة، ورفضتم العودة بالبلاد إلى ما قبل الثورة. حافظتم على كيان الدولة، وضربتم المثل الأعلى في التفاني لخدمة الوطن. شعبنا يفتخر بكم، بقواته المسلحة وبمقاومته الوطنية التي يعول عليها اليوم. الانتصار لليمن، فاصبروا وصابروا، فإن النصر صبر ساعة.
الشعب ودعم الشرعية والتحالف
• ما هي رسالتكم للشعب اليمني الذي يتوق إلى الخلاص من المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية؟
•• نقول لأهلنا في اليمن، والخطاب هنا قد يطول، إن مواقفكم الداعمة للشرعية وللتحالف العربي بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية هي التي منعت الدولة من الانهيار، وهي التي حافظت على زخم المقاومة، وهي التي تمد عملية فجر اليمن اليوم بأسباب النصر. بسببكم ما زالت راية اليمن وعلمها يرفرف فوق أكثر من مؤسسة عربية ودولية. بسبب دعمكم ما زال العالم يحترم الشرعية التي تمثلكم. ونقول لأهلنا في مناطق الاحتلال الحوثي، لقد أوشك الصبح أن ينجلي، وإن أفضل ما يمكن أن تقدموه لوطن سبتمبر وأكتوبر هو أن تمنعوا أطفالكم من الالتحاق بالمليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية، لا تجعلوهم وقوداً لحربهم الإجرامية، فهم لا يقيمون وزناً لحياتهم. قاوموا وصابروا ورابطوا ولو بأضعف الإيمان، فلا حياة كريمة في ظل العبودية. ونقول لمن هم في مناطق الشرعية، إن دعمكم المستمر للشرعية قد حافظ على موازين القوى لصالح الدولة ومؤسساتها الوطنية، علينا أن نعزز الجهود نحو وحدة وطنية خلف القيادة السياسية، توجهاتنا المشتركة الأساسية هي هزيمة الانقلاب، ودحر العدو. ونقول للخارجين على نسق الصراع مع الحوثي، علينا أن نسمو في هذه المرحلة الحرجة من صراعنا مع الحوثيين فوق الجراح، فوق الخلافات، والواجب الوطني يدعونا اليوم لرفد الجبهات بالزاد والزناد، ونقولها صراحة للمترددين، الدفاع عن تعز ومأرب والثبات في جبهات الضالع والبيضاء ولحج ليس مسؤولية أهلها فحسب بل مسؤوليتنا جميعاً، وإن من يخشى على عدن اليوم من الحوثيين، عليه أن يقاتل في تعز، وكذلك من يخشى على شبوة وحضرموت أن يقاتل في مأرب والجوف.
أهلنا في اليمن وفي كل مكان، كونوا على ثقة أن عملية فجر اليمن ستنتصر، وهناك إرادة وطنية وقرار قد اتخذ، وهناك دعم إقليمي ودولي للعملية، فاحذروا المندسين، والمرجفين وإخوان الشياطين، فالحق إلى جانبنا، والنصر موعدنا بإذن الله.
The Chairman of the Yemeni Shura Council and First Deputy of the General People’s Congress, Dr. Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghr, confirmed that the “Fajr of Yemen” operation was necessary to put an end to the tragedy of the Yemeni people, restore the state, and liberate what remains of Yemeni land up to Sana’a.
In an interview with “Okaz,” he stated that the Yemeni armed forces, in all their formations, are advancing in Taiz, Al-Mokha, Marib, Al-Jawf, and Lahij, and will continue their advance, while the enemy’s militias are retreating and fleeing before the march of heroes and resistance fighters. He pointed out that this advance in these fronts does not mean calm in other fronts, such as Al-Dhale, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, or Saada, indicating that the Taiz front is the hottest and fiercest, with the enemy sending waves and convoys of misled individuals, who are met with unparalleled bravery by the noble people of Taiz, along with the Giants Brigades and the Shield of the Homeland from the southern governorates. He said: Taiz is the graveyard of the Houthis, and it will change the battle and lead it towards Sana’a. Threat of the Houthis to International Trade
• How do you view the Fajr of Yemen operation?
•• The situation with the Houthis has reached a breaking point, and the damage caused by their war in Yemen has extended to the region, threatening the course of international trade. Years of trading in the blood of Yemenis have made the “Fajr of Yemen” operation necessary to put an end to the tragedy of the Yemeni people, restore the state, and liberate what remains of Yemeni land up to Sana’a. Eradicating these rebellious militias is an unavoidable necessity not just for Yemen, but for the entire region.
The Houthis have harmed the stability of the region and caused the misery that Yemen is currently experiencing. Moreover, they have directed their hatred towards our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, targeting Saudi citizens and civilian facilities, continuing their assaults and crimes without any sense of conscience or restraint.
In short, “Fajr of Yemen” is a decisive phase in the conflict, and the struggle has now reached its peak. We can consider it a turning point in the course of the crisis and war in Yemen, and it is intended to resolve this conflict that has lasted for years. We hope that Yemen will regain its health, stability, and security.
The People Support “Fajr of Yemen”
• How satisfied are you with the victories achieved since the announcement of the operation?
•• Our people know that the recent and previous battles were imposed on us, and that the Houthis understand only the language of force. Therefore, our entire population feels satisfied with the course taken by the Fajr of Yemen operation, and they certainly support the decision of the political leadership, represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and its head, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi. Morale is high, and only a few days separate us from the operation, but the gains achieved during it have been significant. The position of our brothers alongside us is appreciated by our people, and there is immense gratitude from Yemen to our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their historic supportive stance towards our country.
The Armed Forces and the Retreat of the Houthis
• The armed forces have launched operations on all fronts with the aim of liberating all Yemeni territory. How do you view the progress of these operations?
•• On the ground, our forces are advancing in Taiz, Al-Mokha, Marib, Al-Jawf, and Lahij, and they will continue their advance while the enemy’s militias retreat. They flee before the march of the heroes of the armed forces and the resistance fighters. This advance in these fronts does not mean calm in other fronts, such as Al-Dhale, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, or Saada.
These victories do not come without a significant cost; there are hundreds of martyrs and wounded, but the people see their immense sacrifices as a tribute to their freedom and the only way to escape from the Houthis and their oppressive racial ideology.
The Taiz Front is the Hottest
• The Taiz front remains the most difficult. How can the Houthi’s power be broken in this governorate?
•• Yes, this front is the hottest and fiercest. The enemy sends waves and convoys of misled individuals, and the noble people of Taiz have bravely confronted them, alongside the Giants Brigades and the Shield of the Homeland from the southern governorates. Taiz is the graveyard of the Houthis; it will change the course of the battle towards Sana’a. Our armed forces have regained important positions in Al-Wazi’iyah, Al-Kadah, Jabal Habish, Dhobab, and Al-Turbah, and they are advancing on Al-Mokha to liberate it and ensure control over Bab al-Mandab. As for how to break the Houthis’ power in Taiz and throughout Yemen, it is essential that all fronts or most of them move simultaneously to distract the enemy’s forces, exploit their weaknesses, and deplete their military capabilities, while tightening control over land and maritime smuggling routes. It is not wise to manage the battle from a single front that the enemy has chosen and focused its material and human weight towards; Taiz should not bear the burden of the attack alone, and military units must be supplied with weapons, ammunition, and other battle necessities.
The Houthis are an Outcast Group in Yemen
• Are you confident in liberating Yemen from the Houthis?
•• Yes, we are fully confident. The Houthis are an outcast group in Yemen, and this proud people will not accept being ruled by a tyrannical faction that claims sovereignty and superiority, violates their dignity, plunders their property, and kills their children.
The International Community and the Crisis Solution
• The international community is following what is happening in Yemen. How is its engagement with the Yemeni crisis?
•• The international community’s interest in the crisis in Yemen began through the United Nations in 2011. That year, the UN sent its first envoy to Yemen, and subsequently, envoys followed. The Security Council also issued important resolutions regarding Yemen, the most significant being Resolution 2216, which unified the international community’s position regarding the crisis in Yemen and granted the Arab intervention led by the Kingdom international legitimacy after a formal request for assistance from the Yemeni leadership. However, all this international effort has not yet provided us with a solution to our political crisis, which is primarily political due to the armed aggression of the Houthi militias. Perhaps the UN has succeeded in areas of humanitarian and relief support, although 95% of this support primarily came from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as from Gulf countries and others like Britain, Europe, Japan, and China. Unfortunately, some of this support has leaked to the Houthis, who have misused it for purposes contrary to its intentions, directing most of it to support their war efforts, as acknowledged by some UN officials who worked in Yemen.
Classification of the Houthis and International Consensus
• Do you believe that this engagement is sufficient to contain the militias and emphasize the need to confront them as a terrorist tool?
•• Unfortunately, there has not been the required international consensus on classifying the Houthis as a terrorist organization. The Houthis have been and continue to be a terrorist organization that has practiced killing, destruction, and violations of rights and freedoms. Some countries may have changed their silent stance towards the Houthis after their attacks on international trade routes in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab. We still demand that the international community take a firmer and stricter stance against the Houthis and call for the implementation of their resolutions regarding Yemen or to stop protecting them as they did in the disastrous Stockholm Agreement, which prolonged the crisis.
Providing Full Salaries to the Displaced
• Let’s talk about the tragedy of the displaced. What have you provided for them in facing the crisis caused by the Houthi militia?
•• Since the beginning of the crisis and the onset of internal displacement in Yemen, we have worked as much as possible to accommodate the displaced. Those who are employees of the state have been granted their full salaries through a decision made by the Cabinet, which I had the honor to chair at that time. We have thousands of these displaced individuals, and their salaries are disbursed directly from the Central Bank to their official entities, from which they receive them.
As for the vast majority of the displaced, they were those who did not have a known source of income and fled from the oppression and brutality of the Houthis. We have assisted our brothers in the Kingdom, the Arab coalition countries, and the international community in providing what can be offered for their shelter and care as much as possible. They needed everything, from water to tents, and from tents to schools. Providing security for them in their camps was not an easy task, and local authorities in the governorates have played a significant role in this regard. I had mentioned that most of the humanitarian relief support comes from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, so it is our duty to express our deep gratitude and immense appreciation to the Kingdom, its King, Crown Prince, government, and people for the humanitarian relief assistance provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center since its inception until today. This generous support from the Kingdom has played a crucial role in alleviating the suffering of the displaced. Without this support from the Kingdom, the lives of the displaced could have been much more miserable. Subsequently, the Saudi program for the reconstruction and development of Yemen was launched. The center has been active in covering many educational, health, and service needs that are difficult to enumerate here, with many evidences in the temporary capital, Aden, and in all other governorates. The program always seeks to assist the Yemeni government in overcoming some persistent issues like electricity. We all know that the Kingdom has provided fuel worth hundreds of millions of dollars for power stations. The sources of Saudi support for Yemen have multiplied and continued without interruption until today, forming a factor of resilience against the Houthi coup. It is enough to mention how the royal decision brought joy to the hearts of Yemenis in correcting the status of those in the Kingdom who violated residency regulations in the past two days. Our people will remember this fraternal generosity from the Kingdom, which adds to its previous assistance, and we can only repeat our thanks and appreciation to them.
A Salute to the Heroes of the Armed Forces
• What is your message to the heroes of the armed forces on the fronts?
•• We salute you, officers and soldiers of the armed forces. We stand in reverence and admiration for your martyrs and wounded and for your great sacrifices. You have been and continue to be a strong bulwark against the coup plotters, confronting their racism and false claims, and refusing to take the country back to the pre-revolution era. Our people are proud of you, of their armed forces, and of their national resistance, which they rely on today. Victory for Yemen is near, so be patient and steadfast, for victory comes with patience.
The People and Support for Legitimacy and the Coalition
• What is your message to the Yemeni people who yearn for liberation from the terrorist Houthi militia?
•• We say to our people in Yemen, and this message may be lengthy, that your supportive positions for legitimacy and the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are what prevented the state from collapsing, maintained the momentum of the resistance, and are what provide the Fajr of Yemen operation today with the reasons for victory. Because of you, the flag of Yemen still flies over more than one Arab and international institution. Because of your support, the world still respects the legitimacy that represents you. And we say to our people in the areas occupied by the Houthis, dawn is about to break, and the best thing you can offer to the homeland of September and October is to prevent your children from joining the terrorist Houthi militia. Do not make them fuel for their criminal war, for they do not value their lives. Resist, be steadfast, and hold your ground, even with the weakest of faith, for there is no dignified life under slavery. And we say to those in the areas of legitimacy, your continued support for legitimacy has maintained the balance of power in favor of the state and its national institutions. We must strengthen efforts towards national unity behind the political leadership. Our common fundamental orientations are to defeat the coup and repel the enemy. And we say to those who are outside the framework of the struggle with the Houthis, we must rise above our wounds and differences in this critical phase of our struggle with the Houthis. The national duty calls us today to supply the fronts with resources and ammunition, and we say it frankly to the hesitant: defending Taiz and Marib and holding firm in the fronts of Al-Dhale, Al-Bayda, and Lahij is not only the responsibility of their people but of all of us. Those who fear for Aden today from the Houthis must fight in Taiz, and those who fear for Shabwa and Hadramout must fight in Marib and Al-Jawf.
Our people in Yemen and everywhere, be assured that the Fajr of Yemen operation will triumph, and there is a national will and a decision that has been made, with regional and international support for the operation. Beware of infiltrators, alarmists, and the brothers of the devils, for the truth is on our side, and victory is our appointment, God willing.
