وصل وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، إلى العاصمة الفرنسية باريس اليوم، للمشاركة في الاجتماع الوزاري لوزراء خارجية مجموعة السبع (G7)، الذي تستضيفه فرنسا يومي 9 و10 نوفمبر، وذلك بدعوة من الرئاسة الفرنسية للمجموعة للمشاركة في أعمال الاجتماع.
ومن المقرر أن تبحث الاجتماعات أبرز التطورات والقضايا على الساحة الدولية، والجهود الرامية إلى تسوية الأزمات والنزاعات، وتعزيز الأمن البحري وأمن الموانئ ومكافحة التهريب، إلى جانب تعزيز فاعلية الاستجابة الإنسانية، والأمن الغذائي والتغذية، وأمن الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وتأتي مشاركة المملكة في الاجتماع امتداداً لدورها الفاعل في أعمال رئاسة فرنسا لمجموعة السبع، وانطلاقاً من حرص المملكة على تعزيز التشاور والتنسيق مع الشركاء الدوليين، وتكثيف الجهود المشتركة للتعامل مع التحديات الإقليمية والدولية الراهنة.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, arrived in the French capital, Paris, today to participate in the G7 Foreign Ministers’ meeting, hosted by France on November 9 and 10, at the invitation of the French presidency of the group to participate in the proceedings of the meeting.
The meetings are set to discuss the most significant developments and issues on the international stage, efforts to resolve crises and conflicts, enhance maritime security and port security, combat smuggling, as well as improve the effectiveness of humanitarian response, food security and nutrition, and artificial intelligence security.
The Kingdom’s participation in the meeting is an extension of its active role in the work of France’s presidency of the G7, stemming from the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing consultation and coordination with international partners, and intensifying joint efforts to address current regional and international challenges.
