As schools in Saudi Arabia complete the first period exams for the first semester for boys and girls by the end of this week, the Ministry of Education has outlined the procedures to be followed after the exams conclude.
These procedures include correcting all exam papers and recording grades in the “Noor” electronic system within the specified timeframe, analyzing exam results to identify strengths and weaknesses in the test objectives, preparing a brief report on the key results, challenges, and suggestions for addressing weaknesses and improving performance, classifying students according to performance levels (Outstanding – Proficient – Needs Support) based on clear criteria, preparing a remedial plan for students who did not meet the objectives, specifying implementation mechanisms and timelines, conducting various remedial activities and programs inside or outside the classroom, monitoring the progress of students and documenting the analysis of results, remedial plans, and evidence of implementation in the achievement file or the approved platform, and tracking the improvement in students’ performance after implementing the remedial plan. Other procedures include a short assessment to measure improvement, and communication with parents to inform them about their children’s results and targeted educational needs. The Ministry of Education emphasized that these procedures contribute to improving learning outcomes, raising the level of students, and achieving educational goals.
